Christine provides direction for Texas's innovative College and Career Ready School Models (CCRSM), including ECHS, T-STEM, and P-TECH academies, as the Assistant Director of Postsecondary Preparation Programs at the Texas Education Agency. Her responsibilities include supporting the CCRSM Network of 371 high school campuses, developing and evaluating data performance metrics and identifying best practices among institutions of higher education for scaling CCRSM with fidelity and impact. Christine has worked broadly in the field of education for 20+ years, teaching, conducting policy work, research, and leading collective impact initiatives dedicated to expanding students’ access to and success in postsecondary education. Christine is working on her Ed.D. at the University of Texas in the Program Higher Education Leadership, focusing her studies on the broad topic of improving postsecondary access for underserved populations. She holds a M.P.Aff. from UT’s LBJ School with a specialization in Social and Economic Policy and a bachelor's in Economics is from Texas A&M University.
